Frequently asked question
Is a megabyte the same as a mebibyte?
No. 1 MB is 1000000 bytes and 1 MiB is 1048576 bytes.
Limits and privacy
Decimal kilo is 1000; binary kibi is 1024. Outputs use JavaScript number precision, so very large values may round; magnitudes are limited to 1e15.
